Reading the text on the LCD phone screen is very easy, and I can find out everything I need when looking at the bright feature display. You can also read the caller name, and the caller phone number thanks to the lighted display on the handsets. When the battery is low the phone let’s me know, and I have the time, and date that is actually readable. Another benefit that I like is the handset buttons do light up for easy dialing.

The AT&T CL82409 Cordless Phone, and 4 handsets have icons on the display that will let you know if the microphone is mute or if the ringer is off. When you get a new voice mail message you can see the icon. You can also see if the answering machine is on if you have a new message on your answering machine.

There are dedicated buttons for the speakerphone, and the mute button. The phone system does include a redial button so you can dial the person that just called you. I personally like the intercom button, because I don’t have to hold the phone when I am cooking, and I can just talk out loud.
